What is included in the cost of my registration?
Access to all Congress sessions, networking opportunities with global nursing professionals, conference materials and resources, access to the exhibition area, lunch and coffee breaks, and transportation in the Helsinki Area.

How much does it cost to attend?
Prices of the tickets might differ on the date of purchase, if the delegate is an ICN member or from the country of origin. Please refer to the pricing at the top of the page.

How can I pay my registration?
Our payment platform accepts credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Is there a deadline to register?
Early bird registration is available until 28 February 2025. Then, registrations will be open until the 1st of June 2025. During the Congress, tickets can be purchased on-site.

Will there be ways to participate virtually?
ICN Congress 2025 will be held on-site. Live streaming of the sessions is not confirmed at the moment.

How is my registration confirmed?
Your registration is confirmed by an email from contact@icncongress.org. Please check in your spam/junk folder as well. If you cannot find it, please email us at contact@icncongress.org and let us know the date of registration and the email address of your registration so we can send you the confirmation email.

I can no longer attend, is my registration fee refundable?
Tickets purchased on or before 31 January 2025, are eligible for a refund. Tickets purchased after 31 January 2025, will only be refunded under specific conditions due to unavoidable emergencies. Delegates must provide valid documentation to support their inability to attend the Congress. The refund will be handled on a case-by-case basis. In addition, refunds will be partial, as ICN does not cover credit card processing fees. The refunded amount will be the ticket price minus the credit card processing fees.

Can I change my registration type?
Exceptionally, your registration type can be changed to upgrade to a higher registration fee.

Can I submit a group registration?
Yes. Please send the number and types of registration to contact@icncongress.org and we will send you a payment link or invoice. Once paid, we will generate registration codes to be used for the registration form, in order to skip the payment portal. Every group member will need to register themselves.

Can I get an invoice for registration?
Yes. You automatically get an overview of your payment by Stripe. If you need a detailed invoice, please request us by email at contact@icncongress.org with your user ID number to facilitate the request.

Can I get a certificate of participation?
Yes, a certificate of participation will be available after the event. More information on dates will be updated soon.

Should I register if I am a sponsor or speaker?
Yes. All delegates must register individually. Sponsors might receive a special code to register. If you have not been contacted by us, please email us at contact@icncongress.org.

How can I know if my country is part of the Low Income Country list in order to benefit from the reduced ticket price?
Only members of a nursing association will have the possibility to get the discounted tickets for low-income countries. The list is automatically displayed on the registration page once you select member - low-income country. Please note that we will verify your information with the nursing association.
The classification of countries entitled for this discount is based on the World Bank index for the classification of economies.

Does ICN provide special booking rates for hotels in Helsinki?
Yes, we offer preferred rates on more than 30 hotels. Please consult the page here: https://icncongress.org/220/page/hotels 

Does ICN cover travel, flight, or accommodation expenses?
No, all expenses related to travel, accommodation, and participation in the congress will be borne by the attendee

Is the transportation included in the ticket to the Congress?
Yes, the transportation will be free from the 8th to the 18th of June 2025 in Helsinki and to the airport area.

How can I guarantee to have my visa in time?

We remind you to check the visa requirements as much in advance as you can to guarantee your stay, as it can take from weeks to months to get the visa, depending on the country of origin. ICN is only issuing invitation letters for visa procedure to registered participants after payment.

Does ICN provide visa letters?
Once you are registered and have paid the registration fee, you can go to the Visa Letter section in the header of the Congress website. You will need to confirm your passport validity; then you will receive your personalized invitation letter to download, for visa procedure. We remind you to check the visa requirements as much in advance as you can to guarantee your stay.

Can I bring my children to the congress?
A designated Nursery Room will be available onsite for feeding or changing infants and children up to 3 years old. Please note that this is an unstaffed room with no additional services or assistance. Parents remain fully responsible for their children’s safety, as well as for maintaining the condition of the room.
Children aged 3 to 18 years are not permitted to enter the Congress premises. We encourage delegates to make appropriate childcare arrangements, if possible, prior to attending the event. Young adults over age 18 may attend if registered. 

Can I volunteer if I am attending the Congress as a participant?
As a registered delegate, you are not eligible to be a congress volunteer.

Are there any travel restrictions to Finland?
For delegates attending the ICN 2025 Congress in Helsinki, please note that the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) may be mandatory for entry to the country. ETIAS applies to nationals of over 60 countries who do not require a visa for short stays of up to 90 days in a 180-day period.
 
The application process is straightforward, costing around €7. It is recommended by the local authorities to apply well in advance of your trip. Travelers must present the same passport used for their ETIAS application upon arrival in Finland. For more details and to submit your application, visit the official ETIAS website.
